Junior Church

Children are warmly welcomed as part of the church family, all of whom worship together for the first 20 minutes or so of the Sunday service. The children then leave for Junior Church.

We provide Bible based fun and games, discussion, and activities for all ages. Group leaders have been DBS checked.

We have a varying number of children at our service each week and they are involved with many aspects of church life, including sometimes helping to welcome people at the door as they arrive, reading the Bible passage in the main service, taking up the offertory and being part of a mixed age singing group.

Crèche

When pre-school age children are present there is a crèche.  We share a Bible story and have plenty of toys, and paper and crayons. We sometimes play games (such as ‘hunt the lost sheep’!) or sing.

All the children usually stay in the main church service for the first 20 minutes or so where quiet (-ish!) toys are available if needed and where the congregation is relaxed about young children exploring, talking or even protesting a bit!

When the children and young people go out to their own groups, parents of pre-school children are welcome to remain in the service, but should also feel free to accompany their children if that is their choice.
