Safeguarding Policy

St John’s URC Marsh Green Safeguarding Statement Guidelines for protection of all children, young people and vulnerable adults.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and here at St John’s we have a strong commitment to all members of our congregation to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our children, young people and vulnerable adults whilst on our premises.

Committed, voluntary members of the congregation participate in the running of our creche and junior church and leaders have a clear DBS check. There are always two adults present in each session as a minimum.  Ongoing support is given and training is available.

We have a safeguarding policy kept in the Church for anyone to read.  Please see link below.  You are welcome to contact us to discuss any concerns. The safeguarding policy is shared with anyone who hires our premises who has children, young people or vulnerable adults in their charge.
